There are some maps the bots don't work well on, like turretfortress and ctf-warforts, so I did not release the waypoints I made for those maps. There are still a few maps that don't have wpts tho. If you don't want to wait, and if you have half-life 1, you can still play the mod version with the bots (sc4.8). There may be some issues with sc5.0 maps, like the half-life 1 single player maps, and some others. If you look in the svencoop waypoints forum, I can say all the waypoints posted there since 2012 (except maybe nm_moria?) work good with the mod version of SC. Rcbot does have a behind view camera mode that I use to locate lost bots, it's cool but it's not good for normal spectating.Īs for maps, there are tons of waypoints, but most are for older maps. There was talk of adding spectator mode, it's not in the mod versions, I'm not sure if they added it to 5.0 yet or not? What I do is use the rcbot cheats to fly around. Also, can you spectate the bots? What maps do they work on? etc. It's my first time playing this game, so I ain't fully sure on how to play.
To play the They Hunger story on Sven Co-op, load the first map of the series.Oh right. To play the Half-Life story, Opposing Force story, or Uplink story on Sven Co-op use the portal map made by Puchi. These maps can still be played by downloading an additional file "Classic Map Pack", which you can find on the Sven Co-op files page. Some of the older maps from the previous release were removed from the official map list to make room for new material. The map will progress onto additional maps in its own way if it has them. Here are all the maps included with this release of Sven Co-op.
